Josh, this is great info, thanks. I added your code using firebug and got the result I was looking for. I am now learning about child themes and am ready to begin creating one. I’ll work on the column widths once I get the child theme created.

Questions: I understand firebug does not let you save a new file with the changes you have created, right? In this case, when creating a child theme, I will want to use an editor to make changes to the file, is there one you recommend? Thanks

Since you knew the line number I assume you are using an editor of some type, editing the file from within my dashboard I do not get line numbers. Something you might recommend?

What file am I editing with this method? I am using the Tag Cloud widget I believe came with WP and I want to change the font sizes. Tag Cloud is not listed on my plugins page therefore there is not a php file listed under the plugin editor for me to change. Under Theme Editor I also do not see the file to edit. To make Tag Cloud work I have just added Tag Cloud onto my sidebar under the Design Widgets tab and it works but has not option on this page either. Thanks.

I learned a few other important things as well. You really helped me in a big way.

I have followed all the troubleshooting steps in this post: Image/Media Uploader problems and am still experiencing the same issue. I cannot upload a music file larger than 1.9 MB using the Media Uploader.

I would like to use the media uploader to upload a music file larger than 1.9 MB (the largest that has worked so far).

Suggestions on how to get around this limit are appreciated.

I can FTP the larger music file to the server but would really like to use the media uploader. I really like how it works.

I created a .htaccess file, successfully FTP’d it to my server and it did not solve my problem with Media Uploader, an issue for another thread.

I still cannot see the .htaccess file with Filezilla even though I have view hidden files selected. I changed my permalinks as a test and the change was successful.

Any idea why I cannot see the .htaccess file on my server? I’m sure I will need to alter it at another time.

Are you saying that there is no .htaccess file unless I’ve created one or changed my Permalinks? If that is the case then there is no .htaccess file and I need to create one. Is Filezilla just not letting me see it even though I have the Filezilla settings correct?

I do not want to create an .htaccess file, upload it and overwrite an existing one I cannot see/find.

My idea worked.

If anyone knows of a plugin which removes the randomness directly please let me know.

I’d like to post a specific post in the sidebar. Can I use this plugin if I:

create a special category
assign the post I want to that category
assign no other posts to that category
to change the post I change the categories on the posts so the new post I want is the only post in the category

Is there another plugin which will do this for me?
I am going to try my idea to see if it will work.
