Now, I uninstalled CF7 and every plug-in (what I also tried before), I updated to php 5.6 (this was new) and installed CF7 again – and what should I say, it works like expected.

The code above is just an example, I know for that I would not need wpcf7_before_send_mail’, ‘wpcf7_add_text_to_mail_body’.

In fact the php script is doing a bit more, but all I need is the answer how to access the textbox here for my string variable.
