I’ve tried the plugins and that didn’t fix it. The issue was that there was an empty index.html file in my public_html directory that was handling requests for https://greatlakesecho.org/. Removing that fixed it.
Fixing this site is part of my senior capstone project. My teams job is to make the site responsive and apply the Largo theme. Move to a new host, fix the hacked state, and search engine optimization. The site that the client originally has was blacklisted because of cialis spamming. I’ve been going through it trying to fix all that. The new site has been migrated to a new host with a new wordpress install. Google webmaster tools is also showing that it is good.
Now my issue is that there are weird characters that show up on posts. I’m assuming its because of the database migration. Do any how to fix that? I’ve tried running some queries on my database to remove the bad characters, but haven’t had much luck yet.
