In reply to: [Image Photo Gallery Final Tiles Grid] Image undefinedHi there,
What’s the confusing part? I’m following the example in the documentation here.
https://www.final-tiles-gallery.com/documentationMy markup is generated through PHP though. I’m using a standard WordPress loop in a category archive.
Cheers

In reply to: [Image Photo Gallery Final Tiles Grid] Image undefinedHi again,
I’ve managed to get a temporary version of this online:
https://kevinspeight.balthazaurus.com/show/projectsAs before there’s only 1 image in the gallery and the JS errors and the markup are the same as the ones I pasted earlier.
I think I just understood the second part of your earlier reply – were you asking about the URL in the 404 Not Found error? It’s the URL of the gallery page with the word ‘undefined’ tagged on at the end. I think this is what the plugin tries to use as an image URL.
Hope this helps!

In reply to: [Image Photo Gallery Final Tiles Grid] Image undefinedHi Diego! Thanks for getting back so quickly. I’m in the middle of building the site and am trying out different plugins, so unfortunately I only have my local version right now.
Would you be able to give me any pointers for debugging the javascript in the meantime? Any ideas why the URL would resolve to just “undefined”?
I wasn’t quite clear on what you meant by “it’s not even in the markup you posted” – do you mean that something is wrong or missing in the markup?
Cheers!
Update: it *almost* works – the stylesheet for individual posts isn’t loaded.
So for example for a post with ID 6 the stylesheet post-6.css should be loaded but isn’t.
Is there a hook for this?
That’s great news, thanks so much!

In reply to: [Registrations for WooCommerce] Variations not syncing with WPMLSorry – just read your reply again. Are you saying that your latest version now uses ‘variable’ as the product type? If so maybe it does work.

In reply to: [Registrations for WooCommerce] Variations not syncing with WPMLHi,
It doesn’t work with WPML. I had a very long back and forth with the guys at WPML about this, trying to get a clear answer. It seemed to me that reason might be that the plugin saves dates as variations on a product type that it isn’t ‘variable’. Eventually I managed to get confirmed from WPML that they indeed don’t sync variations unless the product type is variable.
They suggested a workaround:
https://wpml.org/forums/topic/variations-of-custom-attributes-dont-synchronise/page/2/#post-1293043Unfortunately I’ve had to move to a different plugin in the meantime because I had a site to deliver but hope the above helps.
Unfortunately my experience of using the two as a package has been very bad and I stand by my rating.
I’ve updated my review to be more specific, but it’s very hard for me to know what plugin is responsible for what part since I can’t use WooCommerce Multilingual without WPML.
Hoping for future improvements in both reliability and documentation.
My current issue is that the translation of WooCommerce messages and emails are all over the place and sometimes appear in the wrong language.
The support ticket is here – of course I would greatly appreciate if it’s possible to speed the process up.

Hi there,
I think I was looking for a way of reviewing primarily WPML and ended up reviewing this plugin instead. To be fair, I’ve had problems with both as a package – and like you say both are made by the same company.
Is there actually a way of reviewing WPML? It doesn’t seem to show up in the search results. I’m happy to update this review to deal specifically with WooCommerce Multilingual.
Cheers,
Simon

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Is subscribe possible during guest checkout?Hi Pearl,
Thanks for your reply. I just want to make sure we’re talking about the same thing here. The thing I was focusing on here was adding a new subscriber to a MailChimp list, setting aside orders for the moment.
Are you able to confirm that an email address can be subscribed at checkout without a WordPress user being created?
Thanks!
Simon

In reply to: [WooCommerce Product Images Slider] PrettyPhoto dependency / dequeuing WPISHi there,
I’ve just completed the updated and can confirm that I’m no longer getting the JS error.
However the slideshow now seems to have a zoom feature that it didn’t have before. When I hover over the image the mouse pointer turns to a cross and the image zooms in. This is inappropriate for my theme.
Is this meant to happen and if so can I turn it off?
Cheers,
Simon
