In reply to: [Arigato Autoresponder and Newsletter] Duplicate postsI quite understand, I’m just disappointed. It looked like EXACTLY what I was looking for and worked beautifully in tests. ??
Thanks anyway.

In reply to: [Arigato Autoresponder and Newsletter] Duplicate postsJust ‘cos it’s impossible doesn’t mean it’s not happening – but thanks for replying. ??
It’s a shame, ‘cos the plugin looked like it was just what I needed. I’ve asked my host to have a look at things to see if there’s anything odd at their end. If we can’t find a work-around I’ll have to use a different system.
… which is a bugger, ‘cos I’ve put a lot of work in to a 30-email course ??

In reply to: [Arigato Autoresponder and Newsletter] Duplicate postsWell yes, obviously… I was rather hoping for some words of wisdom about why that might be (and what to do to stop it).
I added myself to the database last night and sure enough, on day one, I got the day-one email twice.

In reply to: [Arigato Autoresponder and Newsletter] Stuff around images…. :(Cheers.
I’ve subsequently noticed that the shortcode isn’t inserted if you don’t (in my case accidentally!) have the image set as a link. (That is, setting the link status to None makes the problem go away.)
Hope that helps with the diagnosis.

Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Upgrade to 2.6 – Admin Login ProblemI had a really wierd one! The failure for me only happened several weeks after my upgrade, between one longin and the next. I tried all the usual stuff, then deleted ALL the plugin files using my ftp program and things were fine.
I’ve no idea why, because putting the plugins back in place hasn’t screwed anything up.
Odd!

In reply to: Upgraded to 2.6. Now I can’t log in.Sadly, I find myself in klaqua’s situation, too: after a bit of history ??
I even resorted to using emergency.php to see if I’d screwed up the passwords or whatever but it’s not that. I’ve also checked different browsers on different machines and it’s not that. I’ve also re-installed WordPress in case a file had been corrupted and it’s not that! I really could do with making a post soon…
sabinou – I don’t think the issue is that the passwords aren’t right; it seems to be that “the system” is simply sending me back to the login page. (If I deliberately enter a wrong password I get told so)
