I have just upgraded to WordPress 2.5 and find that I am now unable to upload Word docs as linked files within posts. I can upload images etc. Is there a way to do this?

Our subscribers stopped getting emails around the time that I updated to WP 2.1.1. I have just installed Subscribe2 v 3.7. However the subscriber list shows up on the left as Registered but Unconfirmed. There does not appear to be any way to move them to the centre or to delete them and start again.

I’ve installed and activated iG:Syntax Hiliter as per instructions and I can see the configuration area in Options. Right now I’m leaving it as default.

However, I just can’t see anything to use for code when I go to write a post – nothing (except the usual visual editor menu etc). What should I be seeing that will allow me to write code in my post?

Maybe I’ve gone blind…

That’s interesting. I wonder why it doesn’t work for me either in the editor or by placing the entities and code wrapping in the html editor – I’m using firefox maybe it’s the browser?

I had already tried all of these (using various entities and none of them work. As soon as I save the post it translates the code into markup and then leaves behind an empty set of code elements.

I have another problem.

I want to set up a blog with an email address that I have previously used at WordPress but cannot rememeber where I used it.

How do I cleanse WordPress of my past?
