Hey notkristina,I did get it fixed. It was my hosting company’s fault. They fixed it. It still crashes once in awhile, but nothing like it did before.

Check your server’s error log for clues.

Well, never mind, I was wrong…. Even after disabling all my comments…still having problems,

I will call them and tell them about the mod-security config

I figured it out on my own… It looked like auto spam bots had a script on one or more of my comment forms which was overloading the server…. I disabled comments and user registration and no more crashes…

I do thank you for taking a look at it though…

I am having a slightly different issue. Jetpack keeps sending me emails that my website is down, this one – JazzTrumpetLicks.com…

I know the server is fine, but I get a 403 Forbidden Error and entire blog crashes…

My only conclusion is that is has to one of the plugins I currently have installed….

Can someone tell me which plugin I need to deactivate if someone else is having the same issue?

Thanks for this info, I mean the link, I’ve been looking for an answer like this for a while now.

I’ve recently upgraded to 2.8.2 and did the latest sociable upgrade plug in. Both my blogs are no longer showing sociable.

Some post (newer posts do show it) older posts have completely disappeared. I’m not going to go through all my post and update them to get sociable showing again, there has to be a more reasonable way to solve this issue.

I was able to fix my wp 2.8 problem by deleting all my old inactive plugins. I don’t know why this worked, but it did.

I also got screwed from the latest update. I now can no longer do new posts. I didn’t lose any data, thankfully, but I go to new post and in the main body section I start typing and my words don’t show up in IE, and in Firefox I can’t even click into the main content area box to type in my post.

It’s not an issue with my theme, because my other wp blog does the same thing.

Can anyone please help on this!

issue is on this php page in actual post ‘content’ area. title, tags, and other areas all work fine.
