I’ll explain what my situation is –

I have a sub-domain option in my Control Panel. So when I open it’s File Manager (which is separate from that of my original domain), it shows exactly the same options as that shown in my original domain File Manager.

I tried installing WP in the root directory of the sub-domain, but it shows some error in the configuration. I tried manual aswell as automatic configuration set-up….but it won’t work.

So then I installed WP using the installer of my webhosting server, and the configuration(which was the same as that when I did it manually as told above) works perfectly fine, only the problem is that it does not install WP in root directory, it automatically creates a sub-directory.
