Problem is solved. I had two different WordPress installed in the same server so I was changing the ownership to the wrong one.

Yes, all the files and folders are under www-data (user and group).

Well, I tried to enter today and for some reason is working again. Maybe it was an automatic update? I don’t know.

Yes, it does but it is running for both blogs and one of them is working just fine..

It is in that location, but the weirdest thing is that if I change the name of the file to, for example, updatecore.php (withouth the dash) I can enter on the file and see the updates (the problem is I can’t update since all the links and process are linked to update-core.php).
