agatab, sure. This is a step by step instruction:

– Open home page (important);
– Open Customizer (Menu Customize);
– Open panel Widgets;
– Open section Top Sidebar;
– Press button Add New Widget;
– Select widget GL Items (or GL Images, they are the same, but with different design);
– Set number of sections, select your Images from Media Library, fill other fields if you want;
– Save changes.

note: after changing field ‘Count’ (Number of images) Customizer adds button ‘Apply’. This button should be pressed to update widget’s form.

Widget hooked to an empty top sidebar by using function ‘the_widget’, that’s why new widget should be added for customization. Same images can be taken from .zip archive (img directory).

Also when you go to set up your menu in the “Menu” section, set them up as categories and not pages.

Add Your Own Custom Pages in The “Pages” Section and Then Go To “Menu” and add those new pages to your menu, organize as you see fit.

As for images go to “Post” then “Categories” and your custom categories. When you create your post, match post with the category (which will be on your right)

You can replace the theme default by going into “Theme Options” then “Home Page Settings”, there is where you would replace the theme default with every thing you created.

Thanks Andrew, my site is https://www.2evocative.com. I will try to do this however, i have no clue as to what a child theme is, I am very green when it comes to codes and stuff, I was able to create this site off youtube instructions LoL, however when it comes to the technicalities im clueless, thanks again for your response.

Caroline, may i ask what forum plugin is best with spun? I’m not interested in changing my theme.

Hi Caroline, I am having problems with one of my menu items not working…If I push the icon everything there would show up great, but if i try to get to that blog through the menu, it says not found, and its only one icon that gives me that problem.
