  • Forum: Installing WordPress
    In reply to: Blank page

Hi, I’m having the same problem; my index.php only shows
    <html><body></body></html>
Here’s a rundown of my installation:
    1. Installed b2 to https://shreela.f2o.org/journal directory
    2. Used Ryan’s script to import my MT entries to b2 entries
    3. Upgraded b2 to WP in the same directory /journal
    4. With Ryan’s help, I was able to log in as admin, and saw that my MT entries were imported while viewing the b2edit.php page (thanks Ryan *S*)
    5. I click on “view site” button, and get an empty page
    6. weblogs.com.changes.cache is 666, /journal directory is 755, index.php is 755 (the last 2 were changed because I’ve had luck with that in the past, and figured what the heck).
I have checked index.php in FB 0.7 and IE6; both show a blank page. Here’s my info from general options:
    Base Settings/SiteUrl: https://shreela.f2o.org/journal
The only thing I added to the template was metadata;. I pasted the metadata in between the generator=WordPress.72 and the stylesheet link. I took it out just in case I might have messed something up, but the index.php still showed up blank.
    Server info:
    Apache 1.3.27
    PHP 4.3.3
    phpInfo: https://www.f2o.org/help/phpinfo.php
Ok that’s all I can think of to add, ask away if you need more info.
