    Turns out it was a server side issue… my hosting company fixed it by upgrading the PHP version to 5.2.x

    Yes, I have the exact same problem.. any ideas?

    Ah hah.. i realized that MAC OS doesnt show .whatever files, so .htaccess wasnt uploaded along with everything else.

    So i made my own .htaccess file (which i named as such server side) and included DirectoryIndex index.php index.html in the file.

    Now I get this error:

    Server error!

    The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there was an error in a CGI script.

    If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.
