In reply to: Permalinks redirectionIs there any reason why you haven’t tried to fix the broken urls in the original format i.e. example.com/postname ?
The plugin describes the permalink change as being from one ‘pretty permalinks’ format to a different ‘pretty permalinks’ format, it doesn’t mention migrating from pretty links to non-pretty links. In other words, I don’t think it will work as you are expecting.
Can you show me one example link that you posted on Stumbleupon, that now leads to a broken 404 page?
How many links do you estimate that have been posted on other sites that now appear to be broken?

In reply to: Big problem: Google finds porn keyword and categories in my WP siteWhat is your current WordPress version and did you upgrade it recently (and what was your previous version)? This appears to be an exploit of WordPress that was used to inject those adult links into your site, so your site does appear to have been compromised.

In reply to: Have to reset password constantlyThis is probably a long shot, but try disabling all your plugins, then test your site for a few hours and see if the login problem persists.

In reply to: Big problem: Google finds porn keyword and categories in my WP siteWas your site hacked? This seems like an interesting case.
Those adult keywords are showing in Google results because that is what the googlebots saw when they tried to visit those links. You can see what they saw by checking the cached version of the page:

In reply to: Permalinks redirectionThe redirects are normally done through the .htaccess file using 301 status redirects, which tells the bots and browsers that the page has permanently moved and to reference the new page location from now on.
However, since I don’t know what the default WordPress permalink structure is, I can’t advise on that until you show some url examples of what you had before and what you have now. The plugin you referenced sounds like it could do the job and may actually be easier for you, but you will need to enter the permalink structure that you had before, and the current permalink structure, in order to set the proper redirects.

P.S. it seems my posts don’t appear on the site immediately so that may explain part of the confusion with requesting information.

In reply to: CHMOD 000 wp-cron.phpThe 192.168.xx.xx IP’s are from a local source, i.e. your server’s firewall/router internal addresses, not an external third party.
CHMOD 000 is effectively disabling/deleting the wp-cron file since nobody can access or use it, which I don’t think is a wise idea, because WordPress will likely be carrying out regular maintenance tasks through the cron jobs file.

In reply to: Comment confirmNormally, an email is sent to admin when a new comment is posted to your WordPress site, allowing you to approve or reject it. The emails are handled by your local server settings, so it would be an idea to figure out why emails are not being handled properly on the server, then test WordPress after that.

In reply to: Permalinks redirectionPlease post examples of urls as you had them before, and what those urls look like now. From there we can work out how to do the redirect.

In reply to: CHMOD 000 wp-cron.phpA lot of requests from where? If these are third party ip addresses you should be looking at setting up adequate firewall security rules.

In reply to: Remove link Underline from postsSome themes may be using different css classes to style various elements, but the basic syntax for it would be something like this:
.hentry a { text-decoration:none; }
If you post a link to your site we could give a more specific answer.

In reply to: cant view single blog postThe original post was created 10 months ago and checking the site, it appears to be working fine now and with a new permalink structure, so I suspect that may have been related to the original problem.
Elektronicat, I would suggest you post your site details in a similar format to the first post, including your website address, which directory your blog is hosted under and your permalink structure settings etc.

In reply to: Site counterTry Google Analytics as it will provide a more detailed and in-depth report of your site visitors and traffic statistics. A basic hit counter will not provide such types of valuable insight compared to a robust traffic analytics program.

In reply to: Callback URL / server to server help neededAre you hosted on a Windows server or Unix based? If Windows, you might be able to use a program like Isapi Rewrite 3 (or Helicon Ape) which is a url rewriting program that has added functionality and could potentially look at the referring url and grab the values. Apache servers might have similar functionality available.
However, I don’t think this is an entirely robust and reliable method because you are relying on the referrer information being passed through but some users may have tighter browser security settings that prevent this information from going through or particular mobile devices may not handle the page transition in the same way.
The only route I would recommend is for the advertiser domain to POST the information to your conversion landing page through the use of a form on their page.
