I’ve spoken to the team about this and we think the best way to do this would be put all your product embeds in your “Shop” page and then use the Buy Button.JS UI library to add the cart component to the rest of the pages.

This way you don’t have to add in the whole embed script to each page so it will be a faster option and your customers will still be able to see the cart once they add something from the “Shop” page.

There weren’t any changes made to how currency symbols are added or displayed in the product embeds.

If your currency is set to GBP in your Shopify account, I would recommend you check if your currency description is set to the symbol that you want.

Hmm that seems to be working for me. There are a couple things you can do to help me debug:

– try logging out from your admin before you view the page
– try clearing your browser cache

can you tell me what you expect to seen on that page? I see one product embed, for “Math Facts Rocket Evasion Flash Card Game: Addition & Subtraction”

At this time that is not possible. You can add products into any post, individually as you see fit.

Hey all, plugin version 1.1.5 was released today. This release removes this error message. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Hey Prajakta, you are using the plugin correctly so you can do a few things to make sure it is all working. You can try reinstalling the plugin and making sure that it is activated. Then also login to your shopify admin and click on the buy button app to make sure it is also working and authenticated.

Unfortunately, this customization is similar to the other one and not explicitly supported by the plugin.

You could do the same thing as the other question and set the embed to only display the button, and you could build the product display to show the lowest price in way that you like. Then you can set the button to open a product modal which would allow the customer to select their variant and see them in the order that you set them when you were creating the product on Shopify.

Unfortunately, that’s not possible with the plugin. Storefront Shopify apps do not work with our WP plugin at this time.

Thanks for the information. Yes, there is no way to hide the price since the default variant is selected and the price for it will automatically appear.

There is one thing you can try. If you change your product embed into just the “button” component you can build out the look and feel of the product display on the page yourself, mainly without the price visible. Then when the button is clicked by a visitor it can open the product modal, which will display the price and the variant along with the rest of the details.
