Look in your control panel and they may have the ability to set up wordpress automatically. My server has ‘fantastico’ installed which will do this. See if you have this feature in your control panel.

Yes I did try that. I even tried creating a new category and a new post and it still shows up. I just triple checked and that word does not exist ANYWHERE in the wordpress files. How can this be showing up in the html source code? I am fairly experienced at this and I am just stumped here.

Good idea but no its not a popup blocker. I just got another clue…when I turned off permalinks it now works. But I do want the permalinks on so any other ideas would be most welcome.

Hello all. I am going nuts here trying to figure this out. For some reason, the little box that shows up that allows people to post comments does not show up on my site (the one with name,email, comments etc). There is no way to post comments.

I am using 1.5 with the Trident theme. “Comments allowed” is checked. Permalinks are on and seem to be working otherwise. The comment link goes to https://www.mysite.com/the_category/#comments so that looks OK. The post shows up on that page fine, but no way to make comments. Any ideas?

Try deleting all the contents of your .htaccess (in manage->files). Then go to option->permalinks and click on update permalink structure.

Now that I look at that feature more closely I am wondering if there is something more automated. For every post I have to turn on advanced editing and choose a date. Is there anything that would allow the program to post a new item say every 6 hours (Or until the queue runs out)?
