A friend of mine managed to get it all up and running again, apparently following this advice and removing a line in the sidebar that was calling on an inactive plugin. Big relief on my part!

I’m experiencing the exact same thing, here, ever since moving it from another domain. I thought it might be a server issue, but the strange thing is that I’m running another WP 2.0.1 blog in another directory here and it’s working just fine.

If anyone could suggest a solution, I’d really appreciate it!

Thanks for the help – since there’s nothing before that first line in the sql file, I guess I’ll get in touch with my webhost about the error.

You are a lifesaver! I’ve been trying to figure out why the heck Adhesive wasn’t working on one site (hosted somewhere where php is run as cgi) but on another it worked just fine… and now, after changing the code the way you suggested, I finally get the sticky box as well! Thanks so much.

Okay. Now it’s working – I had to change site_url and could then log into the admin panel and activate the plug-ins I’m using. Thanks a lot for your help!

Any tips for excluding one category from the recent post list and the category display in my menu bar?

It definitely looks as if it’s just calling on the last-opened db… Strange that no one noticed that before me! Being the amateur that I am, I guess I’ll have to do the db switch – it probably won’t be easy to fix the error otherwise.

Is there a way to copy the data from one database to another? Maybe using phpMyAdmin? I really don’t know anything about mysql…
