In reply to: [Twenty Twenty] Changing Default Post Color in 2020Hi @plr-videos ,
Thanks for your reply and video. The issue I have is that the Customizer feature changes background color of everything, not just the posts. In your video when you changed the color in the Customizer, the new color was applied to the Post and to the About page and to the Privacy page, etc. I’m looking for a way to only change background color on just Posts and nothing else.
I appreciate your efforts nonetheless.
Thanks!
I’m interested in this topic also and adding this comment so I can follow. Thanks!

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty] Changing Default Post Color in 2020Hello, I’m looking for the answer to the question in the title: How do you change the default post background color in the Twenty Twenty theme? I only want to change the post background, not the main page background.
As Trevor mentioned above, the theme customizer allows you to change the Background Colour, Header & Footer Background Colour and Primary Colour slider for buttons, headlines, Links, etc. But there is nothing to change the default background colour for just POSTS. This is my issue and I’ve been searching for hours for a plugin or code to resolve this. The CSS codes I’ve tried effectively changed the background color of pages, but not POSTS.
Can background color be changed for only posts in the 2020 theme?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Hide Author/Post DateHello,
I’ve looked up every question in this forum that I could find with CSS code on how to remove the post date from my calendar events, but none of them work for my website. Can you tell me which code will work for my calendar? Here is the URL to the month view of my calendar:
https://www.equipforequality.org/ada-il/calendar/. And here’s a URL to a specific event that has the post date I’m trying to remove:

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Failed to send your message – WordPress 4.5.2I found a fix to my issue with this– my problem stemmed from the WP-Mail-SMTP Plugin. I was also getting the “failed to send” message in the red box. Then I tested whether my WordPress installation was able to send emails by going through the “forgot password” function on wp-login.php (doing this was one of several tactics recommended in this article: https://kb.cf7skins.com/contact-form-7-email-issues/#sendemails).
I received the following error message stating that an email could not be sent to me to reset my password… “The email could not be sent. Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function.” This let me know that the problem was not with the Contact form itself.
It turns out, the problem was with our WP-Mail-SMTP plugin. We had updated the password on our email account, but failed to update the email password field in the WP-Mail-SMTP plugin. As a result, the WP-Mail-SMTP plugin could not access our email account to process our emails. Once we updated the password field in WP-Mail-SMTP to our correct email password, our Contact Forms were working again.
I hope this helps someone. Best wishes!

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] 2 configuration errors foundBe sure to scroll down and look at each field on the form. In my experience, I received a message at the top of my screen saying that a configuration error was found, but the actual error was typed in red text next to or beneath the field that had the error.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Alphabetical sortingHi TobiasBg,
Thanks for your response. We have a custom theme that was designed for us, so I don’t want to play around with switching the theme– I’m not that savvy with WordPress so I don’t want to mess anything up. I may try re-installing TablePress from a fresh download– but will I lose all of current my TablePress tables if I do so?
Thanks for any additional guidance you can provide.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Alphabetical sortingHi Tobias, the sorting functionality on the “Edit” screen is not working for me. In other forum threads, you described a “sorting arrow icon” that appears next to the letter for the column header when you hoover over it with the mouse (e.g. the “A” if you want to sort the first column). However, I don’t see any icon when I hoover over the column headings– has this feature been removed or am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any assistance you can provide!
Sincerely,
Shenetta~
