Hi Jordy,
Thanks for your response. Short Pixel advises against using image modifying plugins along with short pixel optimisation plugin. I tested it myself and your plugin renames the optimised (compressed) image but not the back up image file. The images do retain the optimisation but are no longer linked to the back up. Which means you no longer have the option to restore the back up file.Hope this helps.
Great, thank you for your reply. Does this mean your plugin re-names both the back up files and the compressed optimised files simultaneously?
Thanks!
Resolved.
Thank you to both of you for your support on the issue. It seems there was a bug with the theme, not sure what exactly but, my theme developer released a new theme update to resolve the issue.
Thank you!
Hi there,
Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have been in contact with short pixels developer, because it is caused by elementor plugin there is nothing they can do and suggested I contact elementor support. I am using the free elementor plugin.I am unable to re-store the short pixel back up files or re-optimize. Error Message “backup cant be found”. Because with Elementor activated, the media files are saved into the in-correct folders (YY/MM) when uploaded to media library.
With Elementor de-activated, the media files are saved into the correct folders (YY/MM) when uploaded to media library therefore, short pixel can locate them and restore the back up files.
It is not feasible to de-activate elementor every time I wish to upload new images or replace existing ones. My site would be down to visitors.
Is it possible for a developer from Elementor to login to my wordpress and hosting manager and investigate please?
Thank you!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] “Stripe Credit Card” not displaying on checkout pageThanks so much for your reply and for taking a closer look, yes the credit card field is displaying now and appears to be working ok. It is not in test mode. I apologise for not changing this thread to resolved sooner, I was busy re-testing and investigating things with stripe support and not sure if it was performing ok? I shall now change it to resolved.
Again, thank you!

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Is WP eCommerce Mobile Friendly?Hi Toshi,
Thank you for your reply!
It seems WPEC maybe the way to go than considering they are basically the same on mobiles. WPEC also has Australia Post and according to you may be easier to use which is important for me, being a newby and all!
THANK YOU, it’s great to get some unbiased advice from someone who has used both.
Many thanks Toshi!

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Is WP eCommerce Mobile Friendly?Hi, I plan to use PayPal Standard as my payment gateway. I think I will go with WooCommerce as its guaranteed to be ‘mobile friendly’, I will just have to pay for the Australia Post Plugin for WooCommerce.
It’s a shame eCommerce isn’t mobile friendly as it already comes with Australia Post shipping options!
thanks for your reply ??
