Still having the same problem after installing the beta version. I’ve had two posts since I installed it and neither one was publicized to Facebook (I even re-saved the settings in between).

Hm, weird. I do it with every post and it works for me. I wonder if something else might be conflicting with it for you?

On the Edit Post screen, in the Publish square it will say something like “Publicize: Facebook: Your Site Name” and then Edit Details and Settings. Click Edit Details and it will have the post title by default. If that’s all you want, you don’t have to change anything, just saving the post again will update it so when it posts to Facebook it will only include the title and URL.

The memory limit is set within wp-config.php. Is there anywhere else I can look for a separate setting?

My other backup plugin seems to be working now, so I don’t understand why this one wouldn’t be.

Yup, we tried that. The max_allowed_packet size is set to 500M and 512M for mysqldump but we’re still getting this error.

Yes, I already did that — it was increased to 1024mb with no change. Still got the error.

I couldn’t figure out where to find those functions in use in my theme, so I asked for advice from the theme author, and the fix turned out to simply be using CSS to display: none on paragraphs in the gallery. Thanks for your help!
