Just to add…

I just installed version 3.6.22

I initially had the invitation code on for the user profile, but have since unchecked it. I created a temp subscriber user and noticed that the “Additional Information” – Invitation Code information is still listed in their profile. I’m in the process of seeing if another plugin is causing it. On an older test subscriber profile it didn’t show up with it checked or unchecked.

No ideas, but I have the exact same issues with Firefox and it only works in IE.

At the bottom on the Subscription page for the plugin is an option for Advanced settings, disable visual editor. Change it to “no”.

I’ve used this for having people subscribe to my site and for just dumping in email lists. It has a neat delayed feature that allows the emails to go out slowly. I didn’t get he pro version, some cost with that. Also, I had more success not getting stopped by server spam catchers.

yea, i use hostgator too and never had an issue with plugin or wordpress updates being performed in the wp-admin interface. not that it was your issue, just to add. actually, i’ve found their servers being able to perform the updates quite fast, not like another host i use.
