In reply to: [Simple Membership] Protected Page Stopped WorkingOh, it works fine (now). Just that after the upgrade I had to disable, then re-enable protection for the one page where I’m using it. The confusing part that I saw was that I still had it enabled, yet it “didn’t work”. I can understand a cache plugin or other plugins might interact with something like a membership plugin after a change like this. After an update, you might want to put a message in Dashboard for the Admin to check their pages as a “public user” to ensure protection is still enabled. My hope is that this is only happened to me for some odd reason.

In reply to: [Simple Membership] Protected Page Stopped WorkingSorry for any confusion. After the update, the page I had protected still had the Yes, Protect this content checked, but it wasn’t actually protecting it. I could see the page fine using three different browsers, even after logging out and dumping history/cache. Disabling it, then re-enabling it fixed it fine.
Awesome!
Looks like it was updated.

Trust me, I didn’t think it was true. I’ve been using Wordfence for nearly 2 years and have 10 full licenses for all my websites, that would be a real problem for me. ??
Back to my original questions though, will WF stop this malware even if the revslider plugin is not on the website (or packaged in a theme)? I’ve seen reports online saying they didn’t have the plugin (or related themes) and still have the issue. I also know of one website I personally setup for a company with my own theme and it was inflected. I don’t think they had WF installed, but the company owner said they didn’t have the revslider plugin either.
My main reason for asking is that there are some other security plugins that are saying they do, that’s all. I’m not going to add another one, In WordFence We Trust. lol.

In reply to: [Flickr Photostream] I see titles (captions), but not descriptionsThe issues was marked resolved, it is not. How do I get the description to appear? We see the title, but not the several sentences we enter that further describes the photo.

In reply to: [Run External Crons] crons not working on update to 3.7I’ve noticed this issue too. I haven’t found an easy to use subsitute plugin either.
So, how is the timocouckuyt solution applied? Where, which file and does it get overwritten with core updates?
