Thanks Mostafa! I updated the plugin and line breaks work perfectly by simply hitting enter for a new line just like you would expect it to behave.
Again, thank you!
I must be misunderstanding something here. I’m using the Pro version and Twilio. I’ve tried every combination but cannot seem to get the line breaks to actually work.
Do I need to use “\r\n” without hitting Enter too or is the “fix” supposed to make the “Enter” breaks actually send with line breaks?
I can’t send out messages without the ability to use line breaks. Our primary SMS system for sending using our main office number allows me to just hit enter in the compose window and it respects the line breaks. I really need to use WP-SMS Pro + Twilio for certain types of messages but can’t without the line breaks.
Help please?

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Yoast doesn’t work with visual composerI think the issue popped up again. I was updating Yoast on one of my sites when the error happened. I found this post and reverted to 8.4 after see the earlier thread. I don’t have any issues once I disable Yoast. The current version 9.4 causes WPBakery Page Builder to not load.

In reply to: [WC Fields Factory] Uncaught ReferenceError: wccpf_opt is not definedI just rolled back a couple minor versions and it got rid of the error. It’s not ideal but better than it blocking ALL checkouts…

In reply to: [WC Fields Factory] Uncaught ReferenceError: wccpf_opt is not definedI’m having the same issue. See screenshot below.
Hi Team!
I figured this out, sorta. It seems only Apple Calendar feed has this issue but it ties into the Repeating event feature. If you add a repeating event and choose “Custom” for the recurrence pattern then the Apple feed doesn’t output/accept all events. It only takes the events until the end of the current month for when you subscribe to the feed. I’ve no idea if this is caused by Apple Calendar app, the feed generated by the plugin or a combination.
I can confirm that if you set the recurrence pattern to “Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly” that the repeating events do work for the feed. I also confirmed that if you have certain events you want to exclude that you can use the “Exclude…” option and the feed is still accurate. There does seem to be a cache of some kind so if an existing event is changed you will have to flush your site/hosting cache, wait a couple minutes and then you can refresh your Apple Calendar app.
I guess there’s just a bug with the “Custom” recurrence option for Apple Calendar feeds.
Hi!
So this topic isn’t quite right. Upon further evaluation I realized this would be more of a Feature Request and not a Bug. Can the admin update the title to better reflect this?
The event Category(ies) and Tag(s) should be available to be appended to the Event Description. I think a great approach would be a settings option to decide if you want the Categories and/or Tags and choose if you want each one added before or after the Event Description. For example, I have an event called “Advanced Hitting/Passing Clinic”. Category of “Camp/Clinic”. Tags of “14 Black, 14 Darkside, 14 National, 14 Neon, 14 Select, 14 Silver”. My Event Description has the following text:
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consetetur sadipscing elitr, sed diam nonumy eirmod tempor invidunt ut labore et dolore magna aliquyam erat, sed diam voluptua. At vero eos et accusam et justo duo dolores et ea rebum. Stet clita kasd gubergren, no sea takimata sanctus est Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet.
In the Settings page for the plugin, I would check to enable “Categories” and choose “Before”. I would also check to enable “Tags” and choose “After”. The final result in a feed would then be the following:
Category: Camp/Clinic
Tags: 14 Black, 14 Darkside, 14 National, 14 Neon, 14 Select, 14 SilverI think this would be very helpful so those subscribing to the feed in their preferred calendar would see the additional information for organization. It also helps to have the settings so site owners can set to enable/disable both Categories and Tags plus choose where to locate each. Some site owners might only want the Categories. Others might only want Tags. Plus they have the option to group them either before or after the actual event description for feeds.
I hope this is helpful.
Hi Benjamin. It’s been a month and I was wondering if there’s any progress on this issue? Thanks.
Sorry, I’ve been out of town for a while…
We are using the “import” link from the calendar page created by the plugin to add to Apple Calendar. Click the link to a screenshot below:

Awesome, thanks for the update Ben. If it doesn’t work for you either on Apple calendar then I’m definitely stuck. I hope it’s a relatively simple fix for you guys. I know fixing bugs is never as much fun as building out new features.
I’ll be around whenever you guys figure something out. ??
Thanks!
Sure. No problem. See below.

Apple Calendar Feed: webcal://www.corpuschristiforce.com/?plugin=all-in-one-event-calendar&controller=ai1ec_exporter_controller&action=export_events&no_html=trueOk, come on now Benjamin. iOS devices account for 52% of all mobile systems in the United States and at least 42% worldwide. If we factor in the percentage of Apple desktop users then you’re looking at a low-ball average of 40% of your potential user-base. I think if the events don’t export to a user-base of that size then you should look into it for the plugin.
Can you confirm that you are able to subscribe to a feed using Apple Calendar on either your iOS device or a Mac computer? If it works for you then you’re right, it might be a problem with the end-user’s setup or import settings. Otherwise, it’s a problem with the plugin. I’ve already tried on a Macbook, iPad, iPhone as I keep extra iOS devices around for testing and it doesn’t work.
Can you please review and advise? Thanks!
