@slickremix Yes it is unfortunate indeed. I will however most likely be needing a similar plugin in the future so I will definitely check it out again. Thanks Spencer, you too.

If you’re refering to my post ^^ I don’t quite follow what you mean by negative response…
Hi Spencer.
I have finished the job that I was doing for that particular client, therefore I can’t check up on the bug.
Hi Spencer
I have now tried disabling all plugins on the site to no effect. I also tried removing the FTS plugin and reinstalling it to no effect.
Like i stated earlier it is only the 1 day ago time format that is no longer working for my client after the plugin update at the time.
Thanks for the suggestions, but they had no effect on the issue. It doesn’t work on the facebook feed I’m working with after the last update. I’m not working with any event, only the facebook group feed itself.
Okay.
It is however a style that fits my clients needs since it resembles facebook’s own way of displaying post time. On a very busy site with limited posts shown this style can be easier to read for some. Since it worked with feeds in a prior version of your plugin I assumed that it was now flawed. Thanks for your time.Hi Spencer
This does not work when using the “1 day ago” FaceBook & Twitter Date Format.
This however worked prior to the current update.Shawn

Actually that is how it works. You aren’t really helping anyone when you leave a bad review (before asking for support) and you definetly aren’t motivating any plugin developer to give you their FREE support. Guess you can’t win them all. There will always be complainers. Thanks for your feedback anyways.
————————————————-I was about to go and ask for support but then you replied to my review. I didn’t plan on using my review as leverage for anything. I was merely trying to point out that a reply isen’t irreversibel.
Well I really did enjoy the plugin before the update, hence the 2 star review – and not a 1 star review.I guess that’s your opinion. I look at reviews before installing plugins, therefor i appreciate all reviews. So the way I see it I help anyone that’s considering your plugin right now to think twice.
I could write a lot of stuff here about how great the plugin was when it was working, but how does that help anyone when that’s not the case now ?
Reviews have an important role since it contributes to make good plugins get even better and the bad ones to vanish. And if you really want to turn on the attitude again, there will always be complaints if a product doesn’t measure up. A developer denying support and suggesting that reviews are only made if its a five star one frankly strikes me as a con artist.Slickremix
I wasn’t really looking for support specifically. I came here to leave a review of my current experience with the plugin. Of cause I’ll make a comment when a plugin dosen’t work right after the release of a new update. It is possible to both leave a review and seek support at the same time you know – reviews can be re-reviewed ??I seems to me that you are of the opinion that everyone that experiences a problem with the plugin should jump right over to support and get it fixed, then leave a five star review. That’s not how this works. Sure I would like the bug to get fixed so I can enjoy the plugin without flaws, but I would also want to inform others considering the plugin to know the up’s and down’s at present time.
The whole point of the review concept is to enlighten and inform others about a product.
You don’t get it ? You know what i don’t get – your smart remarks to everyone leaving a negative review on the plugin.
So your logic is that since I’m the only one experiencing this issue at the moment, I must be doing something wrong? That seem’s about as constructive and helpful as your smart remarks.A review is a review. I’m reviewing the plugin based on my experience now – not based on tomorrow or next year.
Hi mbrsolution
Thank you for the tip on reverting settings by editing the plugin folder and .htaccess file. It’s much appreciated.
I read every single function before i activate it for the very reason that i know that it can cause problems to arise if done without care. But for the feature in question there was no infobox or other information that gave me a reason to be cautious or think that files or layout would be changed in any way.
I appreciate you have taken your time to reply.

In reply to: br html markup added automaticallyIt only shows when i make a line brake or insert a br tag on the page so i figured it must be wp generated.
Yeah the display none does the trick if i add it in my stylesheet, though i would prefer the markup didn’t get created at all.

I forgot to mention that I actually already added remove_filter( ‘the_content’, ‘wpautop’ ); and remove_filter( ‘the_excerpt’, ‘wpautop’ ); to the bottom of my functions.php. This is what really makes me wonder. And I saw some effect, in that my paragraph is not split up any longer, but then i noticed the <br class=”clear”> at the bottom.
