Never mind, got it!

For others wondering it was under “Front Page Content” in the PRO Customizer.

Okay, so I did a little more digging. I realized the issue only occurs if I also have the All in One SEO plugin also activated. It doesn’t happen if only All in One is on, but it does happen if both are activated. So, I guess the two are incompatible.

I also turned the plug-in off. Do you need it turned back on to test? I’d rather not leave it like that for a long time because all my posts are then inaccessible. I’m using the Heuman Theme.

I removed it because I wasn’t able to figure out the issues and I didn’t want it sitting there as my home page ??

What is the optimal size for the images in the slider and I will resize them and try that?

So I’ve figured out how to do what I want, but, the images in the slides are so blurry. I don’t understand why because they are being shrunk down from their original size, not stretched. Any ideas on that one?

I’m having the same exact issue. Deactivated every plugin I have then reactivated one by one. Yoast SEO is the culprit ??

Okay, so I just deactivated all my plugins and reinstalled one by one. Of course, it was the last one… Yoast SEO is causing the issue! Is anyone else having issues with this plugin doing the same thing?

Do you mean something like what I have? Check out the “Destinations” tab and choose a drop down. On each of those pages I only have the posts relevant to that category posting to the pages. I just published the site last week, so there’s not much up yet:

If this is what you want to do, this is how I did it:

Assign each blog post to a Category (or multiple if you want it on multiple pages). Then in your Menu, create tabs/drop downs of all the categories. Then, each time you make a post to a specific category, it’ll show up on that page.

I’ve tried different image sizes, resetting to 2, 3, 4 columns, etc… I currently have it set to 4 columns, which is what I want, but it’s only showing 3.

Thanks @eltaino. I am going to post under the MetaSlide support pages as well b/c I still can’t see to figure it out. It seems, from what I’ve read, you need to have a page assigned to the front page for it to work, and you can’t do that if you have it assigned to latest posts. Hmmmm…

You’ve got quite a nice website yourself. Would you mind if I sent you a message about some of the plugins you use (I’m assuming they are plugins)?

Okay, so I answered my own question. It worked assigning my latest posts to the Front Page and then having a drop down of Categories to list the individual posts instead of a true Blog page.

Last remaining question though, my Slider I have on the front page is no longer showing. Any ideas on that one? I have it inserted under Pages, on the Home page. I am using the MetaSlider plugin for this.

I just read that WordPress doesn’t allow you to post blog posts to a Blog Page AND the Front Page, is this true? I don’t understand that, as this blog previously did just that, before I let the hosting plan expire and lost everything ??

If that’s the case, I am assuming that I need to delete the BLOG page from my menu and just have posts go to the Front Page? If I categorize them, can I still have a drop down on my menu with the Categories and will each post go there instead? Guess I’ll try that option now :-/

Thank you, but when I change that, it gets rid of the slider image I have on the home page, and then it also removed the blog posts from the Blog page.

This post is under the Category “Travel Tips + Tricks”. Does Category matter?
