I tested this further and get the same problem when trying to download other file types. I tried using both jpg and png files, and get an error from Windows Photo Viewer saying it does not support the file format.

I know the desired files are found and even downloaded, but somehow they cannot be viewed after accessing them via this plugin.

    Can anyone offer a suggestion?

I am having the exact same problem as described above. When I open a PDF I get the Adobe Reader error “Adobe Reader could not open ‘abc.pdf’ because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged.”

If I try and open the same pdf file through php code directly in a PHP page it works fine. I can also open the PDF file directly through Adobe Reader.

Please advise with a solution to this problem. I would love to be able to use this plugin.

The only thing I’ve found to keep the plugin from creating multiple thumbnails for one post is to create a custom field in the post (I called mine related_post_thumbnail) and set its value to the URL of the image I want to use in the thumbnail. Then I go back and delete the thumbnails that the plugin created. Unfortunately this would have to be done for every post at some point.

I am having the same problem with multiple copies of the same thumbnail being created and saved in my media library. What is the best way to avoid this?

    Thanks in advance!
