My issue was with the WP Fastest Cache plugin.

I remembered someone mentioning click hide default content on theme in another forum and that did the trick but there are way too many weird glitches like that in this theme. A couple alterations would make it 5 star.

Ay. And now MY banner image is not being shown on pages when is check Show Only on Front – but the sample image is being shown instead.

Other forums tell change the css on .nav-collapse but this widgetized menu does not have that class.

Thanks for the suggestion – i’ll take a look at this and see if i can work it out.

This might require a new thread, but once you add a new text widget, the text within the widget is no longer as responsive as the rest of the website and does not shrink as you make browser window smaller. I’m still trying to learn the responsive part of web design… Do you have tips on how to fix this? Does it require some javascript?

It looks like a theme update i just did fixed the issue. Kind of annoying that i spent 5 plus hours trying to fix something i was already doing correctly. But anyway, working now. Thanks.

What i’m using at the moment is ‘hr.featurette-divider.__before_main_container::after {
content: “Latest News!”;’ and is close to what i want but then the text is stuck in that divider and i cannot have it placed exactly where i want.

Thank you for the tips, lorro. The language was still set to the default in wp-config.php. I didn’t think editing this string would be so complicated that it would require a plugin but after a week of searching and various attempts, I guess that’s what I will have to go for. Thanks again.

Hi – I’m just not trying to figure out this whole hook thing. Could you include the code for this? I edited the wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/templates/checkout/thankyou.php file with the text i want but it did not change the thank you text at check out. Additional suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks.
