Actually I found out that the robot warning page is generated by my Siteground hosting company, and I got them to cancel this feature on my account.

I will keep using it. I will test it on a test site to make sure that it is fixed now. Aside from this issue I never had any problems with it.

Yes – I found out that for some strange reason there is one icon in the top tool bar which is called “toolbar toggle”. It is not present on my primary sites, but it is present on all my sub domains. Somehow this was set so that everything except the first row of the toolbar was invisible. I know I didn’t do that, so it must have happened automatically with some wp update, I imagine.

When I clicked on the toolbar toggle icon (it’s a square icon in a square frame) all the toolbar rows showed up again. This was never the case previously since I have had those multi-site installations for years. This just showed up one day. I had never seen this icon before, so I wasn’t even aware of its existence.

I found the solution – problem solved.

Specifically what seems to be happening according to Wordfence Security is that the WP DBmanager file is changed to an earlier version. The original version is tested up to WP 3.5.1, but then it seems that the file was modified so that now the version which is only compatible up to WP 3.1.1 shows up. At least this is what shows in the code. I hope the developer can shed some light on this. I am using the latest version of WP DBmanager by the way.

Thanks, I read about the various solutions. However it is not just the media uploader which is not working, but also the help and screen options buttons. I did not add any new plugins, and before the update to 3.5 everything worked just fine. So there must be something wrong within the wordpress coding.

I saw that some people added some code to the wp-config.php file, however I am a little nervous about adding code without having any idea what it does and what else could be affected.

Sorry the code disappeared in my post above. What I was trying to say is that the “strong” command shows up many times in the source code. It repeats itself dozens of times. It must have something to do with my editing of the page.

I have the same problem. I cannot find an option to display the sidebar pictures as a slideshow, although there is supposed to be such an option.

I can get the Next Gen sidebar widget to display the photos, but when I drag the slide show widget to the sidebar, nothing shows up. Any idea what the reason could be?

I could not find any way to disable the link in the plugin information, but I came up with a workaround. I went into the html code and deleted the link to the clker website. That made it disappear. But still, when you hover the mouse over the clipart, the description of the item shows up which is also annoying. So I went into the code again and looked for “title….” and I deleted the title reference. So now both the link and the description are gone and I have a clean piece of clipart. But it makes it a little labor intensive since if I want to move the item around I have to start the whole process from scratch.
