I am having the same issue with my Hueman theme site as well. Flickers full size, then shortens to smaller size.

Sorry for the delay in responding.

I have attempted the troubleshooting you advised. Disabled and deactivated my caching plugin, and attempted to change the site width again through the Customizer. Still having the same issues.

Despite what width size I choose, I don’t see a change in the website. Whenever I re-load the website, on any browser, it loads initially as full size, then flickers and shrinks down to its current state. It doesn’t always happen, but most of the time. Not sure what I’m doing wrong.

I’ve recorded my screen so you can see exactly what I mean:

Hi Denzel,

Thanks for the comment. I tried disabling the Photon Module, but it had no effect. Any other suggestions. I’ve notice other issues with the site too, like the menu and header image not being centered anymore.

Yes I am. I didn’t realize that was an issue.
I am using W3 Total Cache.

How is that preventing the changes we’re doing from taking effect?

Thanks for the reply. I’ve removed the above stray PHP. And included the original code for color change in my first post.

.entry { color: black; }
.entry.excerpt { color: black; }

But this still hasn’t changed the excerpts to black. Anything else I’m doing wrong?

You’re right. Absolutely right. And talking out loud about this with you has actually made me realize that it’s not that big a deal and that I can figure out ways that are different from the way the theme worked in Wodpress.com, which might actually enhance my site.

Hey Paul, thanks for replying.
My apologies if I don’t understand right off the bat, I’m not too great with CSS and the technical stuff.

To clarify: The theme actually did what I wanted on WP.com. However, after the migrate, it’s like none of my previous posts will show up, unless I manually mark each and every single previous post from 2 years ago as ‘secondary’ for it to show up under ‘More Articles’.

So I was asking if there’s no way around that? Otherwise my site will only consist of my new posts, with no access for anyone to my archived posts.
