Any news on this? Desperate for all images in the slider to not have to be Featured Images only…

Hello, not text content but any images other than Featured Images e.g. you could have a post with multiple images in it, or a page with several photos …any way of getting images onto the slider without them having to be a post’s Featured Image first?

I don’t have any posts on my site and so I’m having to create dozens of separate blank posts just so I can give each one a different Featured Image as a post header, to get each image onto the slider …it’s a bit of a long-winded workaround.

If that can’t be done then your mention of displaying the first image from a post would be better – is that possible?

Can you let me know how you did this? It’s exactly what I need to have too. The slider only being able to show featured images, not just content on a tagged post, is a real problem.

…I’m having to create loads of separate hidden posts all with a different featured image to use on the main page slider!!

That said, the variable width ability of this plugin is awesome and seems to be the best out there for that, so it gets 5 stars for that alone, just hope I can edit it as above.
