Regarding the categories not pulling across, I enabled the logs as suggested and ran a search for those terms. ‘error’ did not show up once but ‘500044’ shows up 209 times, as does ‘category’…so every time it’s specifying the ‘google product category’ it’s listing it as ‘500044’ instead of the actual category.

It’s really strange, categories are working just fine on our site otherwise. We use them to pull different product categories into different landing pages and continue to have no problem with that, or with category searching. Any ideas what could be causing this strange behaviour or what else we can try?

I wonder if there is there any way we can take advantage of the sharp YUV in libwebp, or is it in use with EWWW already? It seems to help with sharpness for WebP images, as per https://www.ctrl.blog/entry/webp-sharp-yuv.html

Otherwise, if you could help us with regards to how to exclude individual images we upload from using WebP compression that would be much appreciated. Most images run really well so it would be a shame to disable it for all of them.

Ah, thank you. That’s quite a big limitation of WebP, good to know!

How do we avoid using WebP for single images?

Great news! Finally worked out the cause. After checking pretty much everything else, I compared our two reports and saw we both had the Snippets plugin installed. Turned it off and, lo and behold, the error went away. Digging deeper, I worked out I had a ‘Resolve Google Pagespeed Passive Scrolling Error’ snippet in place that was the cause. It’s now been disabled and the problem is no more.

Maybe you have a similar snippet you are using? Hoping this information helps you.

Just to follow-up, I have now tried rolling back to WooCoomerce as far as version 5.1 and still have the same error. Really strange.

I just wanted to add that we also have this issue with infinite PayPal loading. We eliminated any plugin or theme conflicts and WooCommerce report comes up clean. No bugs detected either.

As suggested, we reverted back to 1.0.3. in the end and this solved it for us,so thank you. (Though only after we also cleared cookies as advised!).

Obviously we would rather not remain on an older version for security reasons though, so hoping for a fix in the next update. Thank you

Hi @subratamal thank you for your response. I’d love to do this with some custom coding but could you point me in the right direction?

I thought I could just duplicate the WooWallet product and set it to a variable subscription product type, but there is no way I can see to set the different monthly top-up amounts. What’s the easiest way for me to customise it so this will work?

Thanks man ?? Not to hassle, but any eta time on that? Will help me decide if I need to find a temporary fix or if I can leave it until the release.

I used the Show/Hide Author plugin which let me always hide the author, then I also used the Plugin Organiser plugin to disable Show/Hide Author plugin on specific posts and pages. Bit of a roundabout way to do it but it worked!
