Hi, I solved the issue but it definitely seems to be a bug. Here’s how I solved it:

1. Logged into my WordPress account from mobile.
2. Disabled block labeling from the mobile view of a page.
3. Cleared cache: now finally normal mobile visitors don’t get the debug view.

This must have occurred because I enabled the debug mode from mobile earlier to diagnose some mobile-specific issues, then switched it off from desktop.

Seem like there’s a bug that:
a) Shows it to every regular visitor viewing on mobile
b) Doesn’t get switched off if you switch it off from desktop only.

So, the issue has happened a third time. We reached the time the first post was meant to change status, and all 14 posts scheduled to expire in the next few months changed status at the same time and unpublished.

What should we do to try and fix this issue?

It effectively renders the plugin unusable for us as we need to manually re-publish and re-schedule everything again each time this happens.

Thank you for the update and for the link to the pre-existing thread which I missed earlier.

I contacted the creator of the plugin via the email on the website and he has said it is because of the current situation with Russia (where he is from) and that he would update when there is the possibility to purchase the plugin again.

So I will mark this as closed, now we know it is because payments are being affected by the international sanctions put on Russia following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Any update on this issue? Thank you

Same issue here, our hosting provider is strongly recommending we get rid of this plugin as there are thousands of errors being generated a day in our logs.

Here’s an example of what they look like:

If we can’t find a solution we will need to stop using this plugin, as our server provider support says this plugin may be responsible for some crashes we had recently due to the huge volume of errors being generated constantly.

Thank you for your assistance. The ads inserted automatically in post, which could be either Desktop MPU or Mobile MPU, keep hitting a limit after about 12 insertions. I have removed (no longer set) all limits and they still stop showing after being inserted around 12 times…they should show every 4 paragraphs, but you will see if you scroll all the way down the page that they stop showing long before the end of the post.

Can I ask what you changed? Will we need to go through this process with other websites we want to use Jetpack with in the future that are set up in a similar way, or is it fixed now for all websites?
