Thanks for getting back to me. I understand making the Revolut gateway fully compatible with the block editor is a lot of development work. But it has been the default payment flow since version 8.1 of WooCommerce came out last November (now we’re on version 8.6), and was previewed for some time before then too.

Using the old classic gateway is not a compromise we can make for the following reasons:

• Security:?we are required to keep WooCommerce updated for security reasons and there is a major risk that WooCommerce will stop supporting the old classic gateway.
• Client Trust:?our web development agency needs to look like we’re on top of the latest tech. Using an outdated payment system won’t give our clients the right impression.
• Compatibility:?the old classic mode checkout is breaking if used in more and more modern themes, or just looks increasingly out of place due to the old styling used. That’s not a great user experience on our site.

We’re keen to stick with Revolut, but these worries are a bit of a sticking point. Could you give us even a rough idea of when we might see block editor support? It would help massively with our planning.

Thank you for your response. This is actually a serious blocker to us switching to using Revolut.

Unfortunately, if there is not even an estimate of a time Revolut plans to compatible with newer versions of WooCommerce that doesn’t sound very positive for the plugins future.

Our company would have to go with a more modern payments solution if there is no plan for this.

Hi roumi, thanks for your reply. We are still having the same issues even after the update unfortunately.

So we did some more testing, and I can confirm certain plugins are causing the issue when they are active. Here are the ones causing the weird behaviour:

-> Featured Images in RSS for MailChimp & More
-> Code Snippets (even with all snippets disabled)
-> MyCred

Just activating any one of these and visiting your plugins page is enough to cause the odd blank notifications to appear. It’s strange as I can’t see anything they have in common or why they would cause it…

Oh wow that’s not good. Same issue here. And I don’t know of any alternatives…

Resolved! Seems when we got a new ‘real’ notification through it cleared out the old ones. Thanks!

We are also looking for this option. Did you ever find a way? We can set up LazyLoading for an individual YouTube video (there are several tutorials online) but can find no way to do it with this player plugin…

Thank you for the help. Unfortunately, when we use client-side detection the ads still fetch their ad codes from our ad platform, though they are hidden so it isn’t actually visible to any visitors.

As a result, it renders our ad platform’s analytics completely unreliable and resulting in an extremely poor clickthrough rate…which we have to share with our advertising partners. So this is unfortunately not an option we can use.

We asked about this before and were advised to use server-side detection to avoid this happening. This solved our analytics issue as now the alternate ads don’t ever load and our analytics stays reliable.

But now we have this other issue. Any ideas?
