i might be missing something, but i dont see any steps except for this,

“Step number 6 should read:
6. Back to your frame-based page, in design mode. Place your cursor just to the right of “content”. Switch to code mode.”

is there a full post/article on how to embed wp using dreamweaver- i have not found it yet!

i am using cute ftp- i can not see the file- nor can i figure out to display it so i can delete it.

I always thought you needed the htaccess file for ssi- if i did not have it, then those files that genereated my copyright or nav systems would not show up- thanks for the info!

i also meant to add that the .htaccess file was in the root directory of my site, not in the WP folder.

what would the .htaccess file be a problem? I did have one there, I thought that was needed for SSI files? Interestingly enought, i went to go find it on my server- and it was not there and I did not remove it- and when i tried to load it up again- it wont let me…

would you recommend i go with a different provider. iam using https://www.ehostpros.com/ they were recommended and they were cheap- maybe too cheap?

this is exactly what i would also like to do with my site, but i have read through all these posts and i still dont get it- any further docs elsewhere that explain for the really slow people on creating you site in WP, and creating you blog as a subpage and not the index page?

i have further questions. So i do my webpage work using dreamweaver mx and some hand coding, i know nothing about php and my sql- so i have no idea where to begin!

Will i be able to create my theme with dreamweaver- if i am just making changes to the css file? Sorry hope that is clear what i am asking ??

i fixed it- i hate to even tell you what i did not do- but basically i am just overly frustrated and rushing through things- i was off by 1 letter in my db name- so of course it was not working. thanks for all you help- i am sure i will be back!
