I checked on PayPal, it says the status is “On Hold” and I’m unable to find any links or buttons that could be related to capturing the payment.

Hmm… My Payment Action is set to “Authorize” in WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > PayPal. Is that the problem? How can I capture the payment? Just by changing that setting?

I figured it out — the products in question were out of stock (the listings deleted!),
and now I just bought the premium version of your plugin which allows syncing/updating.

I agree. This is why I never started using it. Such expenses tank the new businesses before they can get on their feet and afford all those expenses.

I would like a free version for start-ups, for low traffic or something.

First I switched to Storefront, then I checked the page, it was all messy (of course), but the description showed up! Then I switched back to June (my store theme) and those 2 missing tabs — description and reviews — are now back! Didn’t even need to start disabling any plugins! I don’t know what exactly made them disappear and why they reappeared after switching the theme back and forth. All I know is that the description was gone after I installed a reviews plugin.

This whole mess was caused by Wordfence WAF and its “Learning mode”.

I had this previously installed and enabled on the main domain, and therefore all the add-on domains’ WP websites had those problems described above. Many wasted days and wasted other people’s time, and the solution was so simple — turn the damn thing off, and it’s all good now. Things don’t get thrown into trash anymore, and other weird glitches also stopped.

After scanning everything it found 1 error saying that a plugin “Testimonials” was removed from WordPress. Nothing else.

After doing that I went to the front page again. Everything was gone! Only some crippled menu was visible (probably a missing/corrupt CSS), and below that this text:

For some reason this website keeps getting corrupted like a ticking time bomb. I have been using several different themes from Envato Elements. Nothing has changed so it can’t be some specific theme causing it.

That critical error text appeared the last time as well, before I did the current fresh WP install.

Nope, the problem lies somewhere else.

Today I did a completely fresh install, and at some point the same problems started again. In addition to that, the pages keep deleting without me deleting anything. They mysteriously go into Trash, and when I want to restore I get an error message saying “The item you are trying to restore from the Trash no longer exists.” And it’s gone!

Now I tried to edit a WPBakery template item, and after clicking on it — surprise surprise! “You can’t edit this item because it is in the Trash. Please restore it and try again.”

I never sent it to trash!

So I went back and found it in the trash. I clicked “restore”, and what do you know… “The item you are trying to restore from the Trash no longer exists.”

Seems like any item that can be added and edited keeps deleting by itself without any intention from me to delete it.

How cursed is this? o_O

I have wasted several days of my life on this miserable nonsense. I wish I knew what causes this. None of my other WP sites ever did anything like that.

The problem seems to be worse than that. Now any “Mega Menu” plugin causes the menu items and even the whole menu to delete itself after hitting the Save Menu button.

Moreover, Woocommerce product categories keep deleting themselves randomly, sometimes one by one, sometimes more than one at once — after I edit or add one category.

WPBakery Page Builder has the same problem. Any or even all templates/entries vanish when I edit even one of them.

I didn’t notice any strange plugins either. I have never encountered such a mysterious mess with any WP sites over the years. This must be some sort of fatal glitch not related to any of the plugins mentioned above, because it happens with any plugins / any data.

I guess I’d uninstall this plugin. This support request above is already weeks old with no response.
