In reply to: Stack Overflow ErrorOkay, here’s a interesting variation:
I don’t use PMetrics, yet I’m getting a “Stack Overflow Error at Line 1487” every time I log onto the blog — and sometimes when I load the Manage Posts page! A number of users tell me they’re getting the same message.
The problem seems to occur only with Internet Explorer.
One user tried viewing the source code. It ends at line 1150-something. There is no line 1487.
Any and all clues welcome.

In reply to: Contact form?Ryan — This plugin sounds like it’s exactly what I’m looking for, but…I’m getting a 404 error at the ryanduff.net URI and a “This page cannot be displayed” message at WordPress support URL.
Halp?

In reply to: Markdown ignores paragraph breaks in commentsMichael: I upgraded to WordPress 1.5.1 and installed the version of Markdown (1.01) included with that package. It seems to work perfectly.

In reply to: Markdown ignores paragraph breaks in commentsMichael, thanks for responding. I just tried both of those techniques — to no avail. The line single return and double return (empty line) are both completely ignored.

Leave a comment to any post and you’ll see what’s going on.
In case it’s any help (which seems doubtful), I have two other plugins running: Ir2Spam and TimeZone.

In reply to: Markdown ignores paragraph breaks in commentsHi, ColdForged.
I’m using 1.01a. I believe that is the latest version.

In reply to: Feed problemsHunh.
Okay. Interesting. The other blog I added appeared immediately. We’ll see what happens.
Thanks again, Coldforged, macmanx, gisli, for all the help. It’s truly appreciated…and acknowledged.

In reply to: Feed problemsRe the index.php seems to have worked. I can get RSS feeds in both Firefox and Maxthon (another browser I use) now.
Everybody — THANK YOU!
One oddity remains. I’ve tried to add the feed to my “My Yahoo” page. (I’ve done this with one other WordPress blog, and it’s hugely convenient.) Yahoo finds the feed, but the most recent post it seems able to find is over two weeks old. Anybody know what could be causing that?

In reply to: Feed problemsColdforged,
Yes, that’s the index.php from my main blog directory. (It’s not the root directory of my site.)
The index.php for the theme is here:
https://paste.uni.cc/6956.Did you notice something strange about the main index file?

In reply to: Feed problemsColdforged, the index.php file is posted here:
Thanks for helping with this.
(Note: This is the index.php in my main blog directory.)

In reply to: Feed problemsJust installed the new wp-blog-header.php file.
Didn’t help. Thanks for the attempt, though.
By the way, if anyone wants to see what happens from the site itself, click here.

In reply to: My lil’ site =)Very clever. I really like the calendar-style post date and the comments balloon. When I get a bit more confident with WordPress, I’m going to try to implement these on my site.

In reply to: What is my RSS feed URL?I’m using the header.php that was included with the theme package. The only changes I’ve made to it are links I’ve specified in the top menu (instead of “Link 1”, “Link 2”, etc.) . I didn’t delete anything.
I’ll try adding that code and report back!
Thanks, everyone, for your assistance.

In reply to: What is my RSS feed URL?As far as I know, my URL/URI is simply:
http:/stevegerber.com/sgblog
(Don’t expect much if you visit the link. It’s just a bunch of test posts at the moment.)
Does it need to be more elaborate than that? (I’m, like, really new at this.)
I’m using a browser that notifies me when an RSS feed is available from any site. I don’t get that notification when I visit my own site, so can I assume I’m not “feeding”…?
My wp-rss2.php file doesn’t contain my URL anywhere. Is it supposed to?
