Didn’t include /index.php with anything related to ActivityHub. Are you saying the system needs to “ignore” that page? Or are you saying the page /index.php needs to be removed? How would my WP site work if I removed the /index.php page? Why can’t Mastodon find my site if index.php is present?

I have no idea what nginx is. I will talk with Siteground to see if they know how to handle this.

I’m seeing the same error as @aevisia within my WordPress Dashboard/Activity Hub plugin area.

My site is hosted at Siteground. I can talk to them about this but would love to understand if there is anything I am doing wrong on front end first before engaging them.

I recreated the URL you noted above for Seth and it does seem to be working for me on my site –> https://www.sgclark.com/index.php?well-known=webfinger&resource=acct%3Asgclark%40www.sgclark.com

However, in the ActivityHub plug in area on my site, it is still giving me the error I note above.

No. That and all the other options in both of those sub sections (“Count Logged In…” and “Allow Jetpack Stats…” are disabled.

I have the first two items at the very top enabled – “Include a small chart…” and “Enable a new Jetpack Stats experience (Experimental)”

When I try to upload an image, I get an error message saying that Image uploading is disabled. See screen shot via Dropbox link below.

I get that the Subscriber may have JetPack installed, but they shouldn’t see information about my site via the Jetpack plugin. There was specific info about my site like traffic info exposed to them when logged in as a Subscriber. That’s a big gap/issue.

Any update or response to this item?

I figured it out. Go into

Settings > Reading and change # of posts per page to whatever # I want.

I would think that the simple way to handle this would be to ensure that links to images that are not on my domain would render as normal links in new browser windows?

Please ignore this. I was definitely seeing this behavior I described but after I posted this, I refreshed things and was trying again and it worked fine. So not sure what I was seeing or what was happening but this seems to be working fine. ??

Thanks for responding. I will keep on looking. I use MLA on my site and it is wonderful. You helped me out several months ago with the pagination functionality and it’s great!
