After hours of frustrating tries on my own before I reached out for help, the second one (Techievous) worked like a charm.

However in Internet Explorer (I’m using IE8) it is on top in the centre (its default position)… I’m guessing because @media isn’t interpreted in IE… is there a fix in CSS for IE?

I ended up using a plugin to advise users to please use another browser or an updated IE — not ideal, but better than the alternative.

Disappointed there’s no fix, but still in love with the theme – so beautiful and ideal for my purposes. If you do manage to update it please let me know – email at [email protected]

Hi Lifeinthegrid, apologies for delay in getting back to you — forgot to click “notify me via email” so I didn’t realise you had responded. I finally got the plugin to work; still not sure what I was doing wrong as I didn’t change any of the information. But the plugin is awesome, excellent! Was able to backup my online site locally. Thanks a lot!

Hi Micropat… not sure about the browsers as it only happens *sometimes*.

Also, sometimes it happens *while the page is loading* but collapses and looks like it should when it has finished loading.

Yes I am getting the same problem… mine happens sometimes and stays, and then sometimes it happens while the page is loading but clears up once is it fully loaded. Is this the case with yours?
