Yeah, let’s wait for the developer to have it fix. My website almost crashed when I made some other experiment. Addthis Team please fix this for us. This would be the best social sign in if incase bugs will resolved.

@lawhero, yes I do have that issue as well when I embed codes inside comment template which is located at public_html/wp-includes/comment-template.php which buttons are just good located at below “Leave a Reply.” However, buttons are clickable but not refreshing so then I removed the short code of addthis and relocated it to my exact theme comments.php. The placement of buttons now located at my comment form at the very bottom part which is not ideal for readers. Temporarily, I deleted the plugin. I’m waiting for addthis to fix it. Guess, this plugin has a lot of issue right now.

That error appeared on addthis :-C

great suggestion, I did it on my other site and it works well. Now, going back to the one that causes the issue I found out that the addthis social login also didn’t work and both have some common errors with wsl. Is it because of my hosting? Because both are hosted in different providers.

I did everything but still it didn’t work probably I need to look for another type of social commenting.

Let me try that suggestion hope it will work.

bcworkz, yes your right google might not be able to so if I made it incorrectly. That Meta tags didn’t work on the home URL but it I share individual post or pages it works perfectly.

@ipstenu (Mika Epstein), I did that on the super admin as well updated the permalink on the site dashboard but still “/blog” is not removed.

I done with plugin https://buddydev.com/plugins/remove-blog-slug-plugin/ beacause it turn all page to error 404.

It is really effective in single post, pagination, categories, and subfolder.

It does not harm anything on the site.

But, must in need to back up first the php file so that if anything unwanted result came in we could easily fix it.

Definitely, if there would be a new update for wordpress. This file will be back to normal(script will be overwritten). But since I know where this “/blog” is located doing this same method would be the answer.
