In reply to: [BuddyPress Custom Profile Menu] Links in menu not workingYour URL is absolute in the WordPress menu, but not in the BuddyPress profile menus. If you select the BuddyPress user profile and hover your mouse on any of the tabs, you’ll find that they all start with https://architectsrepublic.com/members/practicetest/…
Is how the URL is formatted your only problem, or are you trying to achieve something else here?

In reply to: [BuddyPress Custom Profile Menu] Links in menu not workingHi Ian,
This is the way BuddyPress works. All these tabs are BuddyPress member profile tabs after all, and if you check all the other standard BuddyPress tabs, you’ll find the same pattern.
Hope this helps ??
By default, all tabs created by our plugin are available only to the logged in user viewing their own profile. “Public Tabs” are tabs that enable you to created tabs that are viewable by anonymous (not logged in) users as well. What you include in these tabs (a register page for example) is completely up to you.
Hope this helps.
Hi @sem101,
What you’re looking for are called “Public Tabs”, and they’re only available with the paid version of the plugin. The following is a link to all the paid versions and their features: https://sensibleplugins.com/downloads/

In reply to: [BuddyPress Custom Profile Menu] Custom post type filtered for each userThe easiest way to do that is possibly by creating a page with your own custom shortcode. When the shortcode gets evaluated, it should then only return the current user’s resources. If you’d like us to custom develop this shortcode for you, please contact us privately: https://sensibleplugins.com/contact-us/
Thank you.

In reply to: [BuddyPress Custom Profile Menu] Pro doesn't workIf there were any conflicts it would’ve happened with the free version as well. Have you tried without multisite?
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [BuddyPress Custom Profile Menu] Pro doesn't workThere is nothing in the Pro version that has anything to do with affecting the Settings page permissions. We’ve also never had this issue reported before by any of our multisite Pro customers. I’d recommend you completely delete the Pro plugin, then install the free plugin and check if it still works. If it does, then please completely delete the free plugin and re-install the Pro one.

This is very strange. Did you test the free version on multisite?
Thanks.

In reply to: [BuddyPress Custom Profile Menu] Compatible with shortcodes?Thank you very much @cherrymount! ??
Shotcodes currently work only in BuddyPress compatible themes (like the standard BP theme shipped with BuddyPress). We’re currently working on being able to display the shortcodes in non-standard themes. We have a topic open regarding this with BuddyPress.org. Here is the link in case you’re interested in following: https://buddypress.org/support/topic/problems-displaying-shortcode-contents-in-non-standard-bp-1-7-themes/
Thanks again!

In reply to: [BuddyPress Custom Profile Menu] Clicking on tab, styles the page incorrectlyHi @makmacmc,
I just wanted to update you that we’re still having a very hard time displaying shortcodes in non-standard BP themes, since they utilize the new “template parts” feature (as discussed above). If you switch your theme to the BuddyPress default theme, you’ll actually be able to see the shortcode correctly displayed.
We’ve opened a new post regarding this problem on BuddyPress.org. Here is the link in case you’re interested: https://buddypress.org/support/topic/problems-displaying-shortcode-contents-in-non-standard-bp-1-7-themes/
We’ll let you know as soon as we have this fixed. Thanks.

In reply to: [BuddyPress Custom Profile Menu] Clicking on tab, styles the page incorrectlyYou’re most welcome @makmacmc.
Regarding shortcodes not working: our old plugin used to serve the full template page, including the headers and all scripts. To support BP 1.7 and theme compatibility, our new plugin only serves what’s called “template parts”, where we only serve a small part of the page’s body. Apparently shortcodes won’t get automatically executed when template parts are served, since the responsible container simply displays the shortcode as it is.
If you wish, we can do some custom development that includes extracting all shortcodes and executing them ourselves before passing on the template part. We’ll add this new feature to our Pro version though to help support the custom development.
