I had a similar issue and it had to do with WordFence.
Intially, I disable WordFence but the problem persisted.
I had to complete remove WordFence from the database and htaccess files.
After that the sitemap was accessible.

In reply to: 6.6 update caused underline on all linksRelax guys the world is not ending and your clients barely notice.
Give the team some time since this does not affect all themes or custom themes.
I am using GeneratePress, Astra and OceanWP spread across few hundred clients and the world is still functioning.
Agreed with @jubilo!
@shortpixel Why did you take that approach? I pay for premium features all the time, but to change from what was standard to a PRO version sucks.
“Offer New Exciting Features” is an obvious and offensive lie to the community of users who use and support your products.
Dissappointed and ashamed.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] PHP 8.2 supportPHP 8.0 end of life is Nov 26, 2023.
PHP 8.1 end of life is Nov 25, 2024.
On the majority of our clients’ WordPress sites all plugins support PHP 8.1.
Is it safe to run PHP 8.1 for The Events Calendar’s latest release of version 6.2.2?
Will there be any significant impact on performance?

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] 404() Error Litespeed + Quic.cloudI have been using QUIC.Cloud CDN for years. A couple of weeks ago I started getting 404 errors on my post and pages.
I confirmed with other people in Europe that my main site was accessible but not my post.
I am was the QUIC.Cloud DNS as well. Unfortunately, I had to switch back my DNS management to my local CyberPanel DNS.
Hopefully they correct this issue so that I can used their paid CDN.
Is there a quick and dirty way to correct this temporarily?
I am getting the same PHP warning.
PHP Warning: DOMDocument::loadHTML(): htmlParseCharRef: missing semicolon in Entity, line: 44 in /home/example.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-popular-posts/src/Output.php on line 166\nVersion 6.1.1 is working flawlessly right now.
I am getting no errors now from my Chrome DevTools.
Version 6.1.3 was giving me an uncaught TypeError: a.ajax is not a function at i error with wpp.min.js?ver=6.1.3:11856
I will dig deeper once I can compare version code from the previous releases to the current one.
I am rolling back to 6.1.1 temporarily until I schedule time to troubleshoot the issue.
Thank you for your time.
