@djdaniel thank you for starting this topic and @dmitresku thank you for sharing that link.
I think all my presets in AIO SEO are back for now. What made me crazy was realizing my site title and description reset after those new updates. That completely destroyed my SERP position. AIO SEO must warn people about this upcoming change but I assume they didn’t intend at all. Because their main motivation behind these upgrades looks like nothing but switching people to paid version.
So here comes the question: We preserved or rescued our old SEO presets, but is this method sustainable? As time goes by, this old version of AIO SEO might become more vulnerable to WordPress hacks. So, any of you have better ideas for the future, like switching to Yoast Jetpack or another seo plug-in long term?- This reply was modified 3 years, 10 months ago by semak77.
Thank you very much Gulliermo!
The updates you make (possibly) to switch users to the paid version of your program and breaking old user settings are completely unethical.
I had my own adjustments on the old AIOSEO panel. It looks like your new update clearly reset those settings that I had trusted for years. I just checked Google SERP’s and noticed that my site title and descriptions completely changed. This is unfair and nonsense. Please give back my old trusted settings.
