In reply to: [Google Doc Embedder] Unable to Find DocumentThank you very much for the offer of help. I’ll try to support tab.
I should also add that this is an IIS WordPress install too. ??

In reply to: [Multi-column Tag Map] Unordered List Symbol?sorry, scratch this one. Not plugin related. It was an image in my themes css.
Also noticed the password strength indicator in the front end profile doesn’t work so I’d also like to know how to remove that too.
Thanks again!

In reply to: [Sharexy - Powerful Social Sharing Buttons] Remove the Sharesexy iconI agree. The whole pop up makes it a deal breaker for me, and unfortunately it looks like it’s using an external stylesheet so you can’t just pull the image/link out to remove easily.
??
Thank you for your follow up post. I had the same problem and initially wasn’t sure what “refreshing permalinks” actually meant, but I just went to the Setting–>Permalinks page in WP admin and hit Save again and like magic the NextGen gallery pagination returned!
Thanks again!

In reply to: [Simple Facebook Connect] App ID and SecretThanks Samuel. I guess I’m out of luck because I don’t have a FB personal account, nor do I particularly want one. I guess my only option would be to create a fake personal one just for the website, but I’m thinking I’d just be asking for trouble if I did that. Oh well. ??
At least now I know. Thanks for the info.
I have the same question as the OP, but I don’t understand this answer. Am I supposed to have a Roles plugin or something?
Say I want to add a “Demo” link value to every single individual download page, how do I do this? The include_fields thing didn’t work for me, unless I am suppose to do this on a global level and not each time I add a new download.

In reply to: [Theme My Login] [Plugin: Theme My Login] Loop QuestionUPDATE:
I just noticed when I disable both Registered Users Only AND Branded Login Screen while ensuring ThemeMyLogin requires users to be logged in (via the Security module) it “almost” works. None of my navigational menu links work which is good, but the NextGen Scroll Gallery I have in the sidebar is still viewable to all.
Almost there. Sorry, I know this isn’t really an issue of ThemeMyLogin as it is a combination of plugin conflicts. Always open to suggestions though.
Thanks,
SelThank you.

In reply to: [GD Star Rating] GD Star Rating and ThesisUnfortunately that gave me an error for the plugin itself and put the stars in the upper left hand corner of every page.
Fatal error: Call to a member function render_article() on a non-object in /var/www/virtual/mydomain.com/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/gd-star-rating/code/fn/legacy.php on line 170
The plugin works fine for individual post ratings, but it would be nice to have a page where I could display the top rated posts. But if not, I guess I could still use it as is. ??

In reply to: [GD Star Rating] GD Star Rating and ThesisSorry for the delay. I was just hesitant to break my site again as I’ve already experienced a few times having to start from a fresh custom functions for some reason. Removing the code alone didn’t work. It was weird.
So anyway, the error I get is this:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /var/www/virtual/mydomain.com/htdocs/wp-content/themes/thesis_184/custom/custom_functions.php on line 13

In reply to: [GD Star Rating] GD Star Rating and ThesisHi arcab4. Unfortunately that rendered my site unavailable so I had to revert back to a backed up custom functions file.
Thanks for posting and trying to help though.
My stupid mistake. Be sure to tick the active action group on the general tab. Damn, my bad. lol

In reply to: [WP Biographia] [Plugin: WP Biographia] Pull from Different ProfileThanks for taking the time for such a detailed reply Gary. I don’t have the ability to write such a change myself. I was just rather curious if it were possible. It wasn’t anything absolutely necessary for me, but just an attempt to gussy up a users posts. If I were implementing a multi-user blog, I wouldn’t mind authors using the back end (WP admin area), but with a social network type of situation, I think it’s important to keep users outside of the back end, so for now I’m stuck within the confines of WPSymposium.
Thanks again for taking the time to explain things.

In reply to: [GD Star Rating] GD Star Rating and ThesisI did, sorta. I was able to get the results to display in a page, but it’s currently unstyled so it’s just plain text. I’m going to keep playing around, and if I can figure it out, I’ll be sure to post here.
