Thanks for the reply. Yes, the Wikipedia links always worked great, but the conflict with the theme I’m running does persist and it only happens when this plugin is active. Since I can’t really say if it’s caused by specific code on the the plugin or theme side, I remediated by simply removing the theme option to publish that vertical share icons, only keeping the horizontal one that works.

I’ll mention it to the theme author at some point to see what he says and will follow up if he feels it’s a plugin code misconfiguration.

Not sure how I could tell, but I assume while restoring. That’s OK though. I appreciate you following up. When this plugin as well as my hosts manually instructions failed to work for me, I gave up and simply deleted the site. I wanted to move it before the source domain expired, but that didn’t happen, so I just zapped it out of frustration.

Also wanted to add that I checked out one of the pinned message and can confirm my hosting is in the supported list, execution time is set to 180 seconds, and I have adjusted max file size to ensure it’s higher than my .wpress file.

I agree, it sounds strange to me too. From what they said (quoted below), it sounds to me like the code was still present but now said “false” and they changed to true. I should follow up for clarification, but I’m really just happy it’s working again.

“The below code was disabled under the wp-config file which caused the issue. I have now enabled by changing to true.”

My hosting support found that in wp-config.php, define( ‘WPMS_ON’, true );
was now disabled, so the only explanation they could offer is that it was caused by my recent WordPress upgrade.

Yep, using “Other SMTP” mailer config.
I downgraded back to 2.0.1 and unfortunately still have the issue.

Thanks Gregor for such a quick response. This one was on me, and was an incorrectly set password in the wp-config.php, which only made it worse when I tested webmail using the correct password and it succeeded making me think doubley sure the credentials were indeed correct. Nope. My bad.

I had already added /checkout manually, and once I purged the cache it started working, so hopefully things will remain ok. As far as I know, that was my only issue with the empty cart problem. Thanks for the quick reply and help.
