It seems to be a general issue with WordPress updates. I was able to resolve it by switching the dashboard language to English (US), which made the issue disappear.

The issue is, that the Glossary plugin generates wrong post category listings on the page in general, which are not related with glossary terms. For example here the category “hot topics” is listed and the glossary plugin causes, that always from the same post, which is open, it displays that one twice. How can I avoid this double listing of the opened post in category listing? see screenshot: https://snipboard.io/GnPwxe.jpg

Thank you for your reply. I already triple checked. Just again created a page with 123456 slug, duplicated it. the new slug was 123456-2. when I delete the page permanently 123456, I can’t change 123456-2 to 123456 anymore, Just can’t delete “-2” at all.

Please try to replicate with same example. Thanks in advance for a solution.

Hi, I have the same issue. When I duplicate a page, change the permalink from example-2 to only “example” (there is no other page with this slug anymore, deleted permanently in trash also), I can’t get rid of the “-2” slug number at all. Saving doesn’t remove -2. However, I can rename to other names, but that’s not a solution for it, since I need a very specific slug for marketing purposes.

You can translate the text directly in the plugin itself in the settings, very easy done.

Thank you, I added the id, but still the links and scrolling has a strange behaviour. It reloads the entire page, scrolls to the id but doesn’t land in the desired tab. is it because of the title contains special characters like ? and ()?

These links are working perfectly, with the desired padding from top, but I can’t put these into menu navigation ??

Thank you very much for your reply. I changed the names, but also https://www.atlas-stiftung.ch/konrad-winterthur/?target=preise is not working, the page just reloads and stays at the top of page. :-/
