In reply to: cant get into my adminNo it’s by no means hopeless. Sorry, my update instructions won’t help you until you get back in.
Are you able to follow esmi’s instructions? I don’t know how familiar you are with accessing the backend?

In reply to: cant get into my adminWhen you mouse over the dashboard option in the admin panel the sub-options home and updates appear. The update sub-option should’ve had a number showing representing the number of updates pending.
At this point If I couldn’t log in I would restore a backup.
As you say you’re a technophobe, I’m worried that you might not have a backup?

Also have you been keeping your site/themes/plugins up to date? Sorry if that’s another silly question, but a sucuri scan suggests you might be running an old version?

In reply to: header and menu accidently moved to the righta smaller number will move them to the left.
If you install the ‘Advanced Code Editor’ plugin the lines will be numbered and you won’t have to count.
Cheers.

In reply to: header and menu accidently moved to the rightYou should be able to adjust the position of the header and menu by adjusting the width in the #branding rule at line 139 of the style.css file.

In reply to: Magic Action Box is appearing correctly on one page but not anotherThe labels look different because they are different in the html.
One box has:
<div class=”mab-field”>
<label for=””>E-Mail:</label>
<input type=”text” name=”email”>
</div>
The other has:
<div class=”mab-field”>
<input type=”text” name=”email”>
<label for=””>E-Mail:</label>
</div>
I think you need to have another look at how you created the boxes in the magic box plugin.Did you know that the bulleted list and the image are crashing together on smaller screens?
