For anyone trying to resolve the issue, you’ll need to set the allow_url_fopen to true in your PHP.ini file –

allow_url_fopen=1

We’ll look into it and try to find a fallback as well.

That’s odd. Could you please contact us via email (support@ our domain name .com) and share your WordPress login details? I’ll make sure to run the import and check the issue.

As mentioned, I’ve already checked the URL and it seems to be working properly.

I’ve just tested an import with the very same feed URL (https://www.spreaker.com/show/3508661/episodes/feed) and it seems to be working flawlessly. 3 episodes were imported successfully.

Could you please try once again, perhaps double check you’re using a clean URL and see if it works?

Also, which PHP version are you currently using on your website?

I believe you can add the /de/ into the above link –

This should open the Apple Podcasts site, I’m sure that once you hit the “Play on Apple Podcasts” button it would open the app. If you copy the link that this button generates, you can also send users directly to the app, but that might be problematic if you click on it and don’t have the right app.

Otherwise, I’d suggest you contact Apple and check why it’s not opening with their apps by default, perhaps you’ll need to use a different link.

The buttons should be visible on mobile by default.

If you’re using a certain theme or a page builder, please make sure those are not hiding the buttons on mobile layouts.

Thanks for sharing the issue and sorry for the delay replying.
We’ll look into it further, probably the Spotify URI isn’t an allowed URI protocol, so when escaping the URL it does not pass through.

Hopefully we can push the update within a couple of days.
