  • Exact same problem here. Any fix?

Thanks for the answer but that’s exactly what I don’t want to do. I obviously tried to go to post > edit > click category > delete.

The problem is I have thousands of posts to delete and doing it this way would take me about… forever ??

I also tried the bulk delete plugin. It crashes on me all the time and doens’t seem to delete more than 4-5 posts at a time.

Which is why I want to find out how to delete posts directly from the database…

My question is, what is the MySQL query I have to run to: “delete posts from XYZ category that were posted between this date and this date”

    Thanks

You are awesome! I deactivated DB Cache and voila, tags work again! Thank you for your help.

Ok, my comments are working again. As I said in my previous post, I suspected DreamHost, my host to be the cause. While I don’t have any proof of that, I still believe they were causing this issue since they had server and database stuff issue yesterday.

This morning, all my missing email notifications were in my inbox and I now get notified everytime a new comment is posted.

This problem just happened overnight for me.
I updated to 2.7 a few weeks ago and this morning, I found out that I didn’t have a single comment notification email (I usually get 30).
I looked in the admin panel and saw that many people had commented but I wasn’t sent an email.
I didn’t change anything at all in my config.
My blog is hosted on DreamHost and I know they had problems with my server yesterday but email, database and everything else works fine. I wonder what the problem is…

I tried all of this. My google ads are in my loop and that’s fine, that’s exactly what i want. I simply want to prevent google ads from showing on 2 specific pages and 3 specific posts. There doesn’t seem to be a way to do that…

Hey MichaelH, thanks for the tip but this is not exactly what I need. This link tells you how to ad adsense to your template. I need to find out how to block adsense from appearing in a given post/page.

    Nice!

I have one problem though. I am trying to import posts into sub-categories and I am having issues….

I can import to a category without any problem but I can’t figure out the import to a subcategory.

    I unsuccessfully tried the following:

    <wp:category><wp:category_parent>Yoga Classes</wp:category_parent><wp:cat_name><![CDATA[Test Yoga Classes - TE]]></wp:cat_name></wp:category>

It creates the post and it creates the subcategory but it won’t put the post in this subcategory. I just puts the post in “uncategorized”.

Your help on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
