In reply to: [Permalink Manager Lite] Redirect mode if using YoastThanks for the quick reply.
If I disable Redirect Mode entirely in your plugin, will Yoast take over the redirects regardless of the permalink structure for all posts that I change the URL for?

In reply to: [Redirection] Keeping old permalinks while using new permalink for new postsThanks for the reply. Are you aware of any plugin that could do what I am looking for (ie. keep old permalink for old posts, but use new permalink for new post)?

In reply to: [Publish To Apple News] Editors Role Posts Not Pushing AutomaticallyIs there any chance the ability to choose the roles that can or cannot publish to Apple News be implemented in the plugin? This seems like something a lot of blogs with several editors would need. Thank you.
Hi Kevin,
I confirm I am running latest versions of both the plugin and WP.
My hosting company indeed uses a different configuration than typical hosts such as DreamHost or BlueHost. Is you creating an account https://o.presslabs.com/ and my giving you access an option?
I understand you are not for hire, but do you know if other developers involved with your project would be interested?
Tkank you
I confirm I am running latest version of WP. I unfortunately can’t understand server logs, however, my host has informed me that I can easily give you access to these logs. The only thing you’d have to do would be to create an account at https://o.presslabs.com/ (my hosting company). From there I would be able to give you Dev rights.
I understand this is not ideal for you. This said, I wouldn’t mind hiring you to look into all this and hopefully find a fix for my problems.
Thank you
More weirdness with post publishing.
Posts that are “scheduled” to be published are pushed to Apple News.
Posts written by me (admin) and published immediately by me are not pushed to AN.
Posts written by other editors (non admin) but published by me are pushed to AN.Hello. This seems to be slightly different from my feature suggestion. This person wants to disable cover image entirely in a post. Ideally, I’d like to keep that cover image but just “hide” the first image found at the top of the post. So you’d end up having:
1. Cover image.
2. Headline.
3. Byline
4. Post text (with first image at the top removed/hidden.Thanks for the consideration.
I think I figured out the reason for these errors. As it turned out, these posts were already present in Apple News via the RSS feed import. New posts that were then pushed to Apple News *after* the switch from RSS to the API are publishing fine.
However…
I still have a weird bug that doesn’t push newly published posts to Apple News, even though this setting is enabled in Settings. I have to manually go into the Articles setting, and publish to Apple News from there.
Have you encountered this bug before?
Here are 2 debug I received for my last two attempts:
https://pastebin.com/C50QLiPZ
https://pastebin.com/9iknNR4yI will also try to get my hands on PHP logs.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Well, without touching anything, now all posts that I publish to Apple News return the FAILED_PROCESSING status, yet they show as PUBLISHED in the Sync Status. I’m confused.

Are you referring to the Debugging setting in the plugin? If so, I have not enabled this. I guess I should?
This is strange because I now have the following settings enabled:
Automatically publish to Apple News when published in WordPress – YES
Automatically update in Apple News when updated in WordPress – YES
Automatically delete from Apple News when deleted in WordPress – YESBut when I publish a new post, it doesn’t push it to Apple News. Yet when I update an existing post, it does update it on Apple News.
Any insight?
Thanks
