OK! Now we’re getting somewhere. I found the directory exactly where you said it would be, but then i tried clicking the set source directory button – THEN the photos appeared and I could import them into the album.

I really appreciate your diligence and maybe I’m just not understanding or phrasing my question properly, but I still don’t understand.

After the plugin successfully unzips the folder, where do the photos go and how do I assign them to an existing album?

right, I’ve set the ‘import photos from’ box to the correct folder on my server, it unzips the files contained inside but where do the photos go after that?

I seem to be missing a step. I’ve uploaded zip files via FTP and extracted them on the import photos page, but now what? It says the zip files have been extracted successfully but I don’t know where they went or how to put them into a specific album. I don’t see them on the moderate photos page either.
