In reply to: [Featured Image Admin Thumb] UI conflict with WooCommerce MembershipsAh – that’s less than desirable.
I did put in a filter that you can add to your themes functions.php file. You can then tell my plugin what post types to ignore.
Here’s the gist with an example for WooCommerce memberships
Example code to prevent my plugin from loading on a particular post type (or types) admin page
I anticipate this could help you out but let me know either way.
Thank you for using my plugin.

In reply to: [Featured Image Admin Thumb] Plugin not working with EDDOK
Absent anything to the contrary I will assume that it all works. And I hope your site is working OK.
If anyone is experiencing issues with EDD, EDD FES and the 1.5.3 version of my plugin please open a new ticket.
If you are on an older version then be sure to update to 1.5.3
Thank you for using my plugin.

In reply to: [Featured Image Admin Thumb] Plugin not working with EDDHi,
Version 1.5.3 should fix the issue for you.
In my local testing it did so please confirm for me and for other EDD / Frontend Submission users.
Thank you for using my plugin.

Thank you for the follow up.
Just to clarify – are you referring to this paid extension?
If not please provide a link.
Let me know either way when you have some time.

In reply to: [Featured Image Admin Thumb] Plugin not working with EDDHi,
We have previously experienced feedback that my plugin doesn’t work with EDD and that was 10 months ago. EDD forum post – the resolution was successful and the user reported success.
Since then, of course, there may have been some changes to EDD and / or my plugin that might have introduced some inconsistency and if that is the case this is the first instance reported to me.
I can only test this on a local installation right now and I did that by installing a fresh copy of WordPress, the latest version of EDD and my plugin, creating a Download and then from the All Downloads screen I was able to click the “Set featured image” link my plugin provides in the Thumb column. After selecting the image and choosing “Use as thumbnail” it was successfully set. So it seems that the plugins can work together. In this case they are the only two plugins active.
Are you able to expand on your experience / issue a little more? Perhaps, if you have other plugins active can you disable them leaving only EDD and my plugin active? Can you see the thumb column in All Posts or All Downloads at all (check Screen options to see if there is a check mark for the thumb column too)
If anyone else is using EDD and considering using my plugin and encountered any or the same issue then please contribute to this ticket or start a new one.
Hopefully with any additional information you can provide we can troubleshoot further to get it working for you in your installation / environment.
Thank you for using my plugin.

In reply to: [Featured Image Admin Thumb] Odd thumb behavior in excerpt viewWith Tom’s help I found some improvements to make to my code and released those in version 1.5.2.
These changes prevent the behavior Tom was experiencing with his theme and I was able to reproduce and test with his assistance.
Thank you for using my plugin.

In reply to: [Featured Image Admin Thumb] Odd thumb behavior in excerpt viewIt would be nice to try and understand how to prevent this behavior. It might be the theme or even a plugin or setting within the site in combination with the theme.
And, yes please send an invite to tech at emstarinc.com
Thank you
SeanHi,
Please do let me know what the status of your issue is.
Given that I updated the plugin and with the update, in my testing, it addressed the issue you described I’ll assume it is fixed until I hear otherwise.
Thank you for using my plugin.

In reply to: [Featured Image Admin Thumb] Odd thumb behavior in excerpt viewAh – silly me. I can’t remember the last time I used excerpt view over list view in any theme. So, with that in mind, I have tried to recreate your issue using some themes and sites I have but I can’t.
If you can offer some more information about the theme you are using or about how to recreate the issue then I’ll gladly see what I need to do to my plugin to address this particular issue.
If anyone else is experiencing the issue please do open a new support ticket with all your details.
I’ll assume that if I don’t hear from you in the very near future that perhaps you have found an alternative solution.
Thank you

In reply to: [Featured Image Admin Thumb] Odd thumb behavior in excerpt viewNo idea but thank you for the details on the behavior.
Do you get the same behavior on that same staging WordPress install but running the TwentySeventeen or TwentySixteen themes? Can you report what results you get when you use one of those themes?
I am going to assume that Excerpt view is related to the theme you are using and perhaps that could be where the issue manifests itself and it’s just a matter of understanding what options there are for my plugin to provide the same behavior as in List view.
What is the name of the theme and is it publicly available such that it could be tested?
Thank you for using my plugin
Sean
Hi,
Take a look at the latest update 1.5.1 to see if that assists with your EDD issue.
In my testing it did but please let me know either way.
Once again, thank you for using my plugin.
